After years of appreciating the good work that BTAC does and gearing up for retirement, Jeanette Meyer joined the BTAC Board in October 2018. Jeanette served as Burbank Water and Power’s Marketing Manager for 18 years where she was in charge of energy and water saving programs for residents and businesses, published BWP’s community newsletter, and headed up communication efforts for the utility. Jeanette also worked at The Gas Company and the Los Angeles Times. She was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley in the 1960s, making her an original “Valley Girl.” She graduated from crosstown rivals UCLA (BA, Sociology) and USC (MBA, Marketing). Jeanette’s proudest achievements are her kids, Tess and Nick, and being married to the best guy going, Rick.
